I am a collector of travel maps, I love being able to showcase where I’ve been and have memories when I look at my maps. I decided to get this map for my fiancé for Christmas. He has been talking about wanting to go to some of the National Parks, so what better motivation to get going! I have not scratched any thing off yet, but it comes with a metal guitar pick looking instrument to help with the scratching. I need to get a frame to place this map in, which would be awesome if they would have an option for that. That is the only thing I have a complaint about. Go ahead and buy it! It’s a cute little gift for the traveler in your life.

Love this scratch off map of the United States! The poster quality and the overall design with National Parks is just impressive. I was expecting a simpler product, but this one is a masterpiece. No exaggeration. Scratching the states is a little bit difficult but the look of it justifies the extra effort. Just follow the provided instructions and take your time with it. I used their scratch tool and also the edge of a credit card. Both worked great. Also, I have now ordered their 25” magnetic poster hanger frame to frame it nicely in my living room. I highly recommend this company!

Well, that’s a pretty awesome scratch off map of the United States. Looks good, feels nice to touch.The product also includes a steel scratch-off tool, sorta like a guitar pick… Works smooth.What else.. Hmm.. The colors! I really like the black/gold and other colors under the ‘scratchable’ material. Btw, it’s pretty easy to scratch off, and the process, therefore, is fun! :DWe’ve scratched it together with my fam, so awesome! All the memories from the National Parks, the States we’ve visited… We’ve even planned new travels during our scratching fun… Good item, it’s like a connector for our lil fam!I’ve also found a lil sticker together with the product, it says; Live, Love, Travel.. My bro’s birthday was approaching and I saw that he had pinned something similar to this US map on Pinterest. He was blown away when he saw this one! He explores the USA a lot for work and pleasure even National Parks. He and his girl love hiking and have a goal to visit all 61 National Parks. This is the only scratch map USA with all of those marked on the map AND also in a cool list of abbreviations at the top! Perfect for tracking how many NPs you’ve been to!This is a gorgeous memento they can hang in their home and commemorate all their US travels. By the way! The map set comes with a real neat scratcher and even coloring page with the map done in artistic coloring book style! Needless to say, it’s framed and is now hanging in their living room. Such a great conversation starter!

Pros:1. Compared to other ones the revealed areas are very detailed in terms of terrain, highways, peaks, rivers and town names. NOT just a plainly colored shape or watercolor style. This is an actual travel map.2. It is the only scratch map USA with all 61 National Parks listed at the top to track how many you’ve been too. Also, having state flags at the bottom is a big bonus too.3. Visually this map of the USA looks beautiful as an art piece on the wall: fonts are well selected, colors are on point, black and gold is a very cool combination, and the gold coating has a rich shine to it.4. The size is decent and it nicely fits a standard frame. The header and footer space are left specifically to work with magnetic poster frames, which makes it the only scratch map that will look nice in those hanger frames.5. The paper quality is waaaay better than I expected for this price. It’s thick and sturdy, impossible to damage while scratching off where you’ve been and it has a nice sheen to it. You can clearly say it was NOT made in China. Europe is known for the quality for a reason.6. I used the provided metal scratch tool to scratch off the gold foil. It is easily removable.7. Oh, almost forgot: they included two neat things as well: a list of all National Parks in a separate booklet and instead of plain protective paper they’ve designed a neat coloring page for kids to play with (or adults to stress release?) lolCons:I wish their magnetic poster frames were in stock in time to buy this map with the frame for it right away. I’m excited to track our family’s travels on this map. I haven’t started scratching off locations yet because I want to involve my kids, but it’s a good size and comes in a sturdy protective tube. I haven’t decided if I’m going to frame it or just store it rolled up and pull out after we travel. Seems to be a good option for the cost.

This product is high-quality and comes in nice packaging. It would definitely make a nice gift. The tube it comes in is thick with a nice design on it. There is an area where you can write To: and From: so you don’t even have to wrap it if you don’t want to. The map itself is also great and comes with a scratching tool. I plan to buy more of these for elementary school birthday party gifts.
